Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Springfield, Missouri.

Job Summary

CT Technologist, CT Springfield, MO. The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography scans independently, completes post-processing and quality-control procedures, and transports patients when needed. The role supports emergency, trauma, inpatient, and other patient populations while maintaining safety, communication, and infection-prevention standards.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registration with the ARRT in Radiography and CT; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training at an approved school; at least 1 year of CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting; proficiency with computed tomography scanners, power injectors, workstations, computers, image evaluation, cross-sectional anatomy, and three-dimensional imaging.
• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend hours may be required, and evening-shift orientation may occur during the day shift.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing diagnostic computed tomography scans, transporting patients, following universal precautions, using appropriate personal protective equipment, maintaining archive integrity, following downtime procedures, completing post-processing procedures, and performing quality-control workstation functions. The role requires the ability to manipulate equipment, select appropriate exposure factors, evaluate images, lift and transport patients, stand and walk continuously, respond to stressful and emergent situations, and communicate effectively. Seasonal influenza vaccination or an approved exemption is required from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted. Black scrubs are required.
