The ideal candidate has ARRT (R) certification, Kansas licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years of CT experience. First-time travelers are not accepted, and there is on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging across ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
Conduct scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, vascular, head, and musculoskeletal studies.
Administer contrast and start IVs as needed.
Utilize advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality imaging.
Document accurately in EPIC.

Role Overview

We’re hiring an experienced CT Technologist for a busy community hospital setting supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging. This role requires strong technical skills, adaptability, and comfort working across multiple sites within the system.

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging across ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
Conduct scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, vascular, head, and musculoskeletal studies

Clinical Skills Required

Adult acute care and outpatient imaging
Emergency department experience
Trauma imaging (head, spine, musculoskeletal)
Vascular studies (CTA, PE, aorta, carotid)
Contrast administration and IV starts
3D imaging (MIP, volume rendering)
Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and ROI measurement
Experience with GE systems and PACS

Floating required across 3 locations (Roeland Park, Leawood, Legends)
On-call required based on department needs
Local candidates not accepted (must live 75+ miles away)
RTO: Maximum 7 days
Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts over contract duration
Scrubs: Royal blue
