Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The traveler will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with an expected start date of 11/01/2026.

Requires ARRT CT, BLS and state licensing where required, plus at least one year of CT experience. You will perform CT imaging, prepare patients, position for scans, administer contrast when needed, review images, and ensure accurate patient records using McKesson PACS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT tech experience.
• ARRT CT certification and BLS are required; state licensing where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment safely.
• Administer contrast as required and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain patient records and use McKesson PACS for image transfer.

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Hendersonville, TN. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for the use of computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. CT Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing CT scanning.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required.
• CT Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily.
• CT Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Requirements*: ARRT (CT), BLS, ARRT (R), 2 Years
• * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
