Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Taos, New Mexico. This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day/night shifts, with travel opportunities and professional growth.

Qualifications include ARRT certification, degree in Radiologic Technology, active state license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years radiology experience, with CT imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain radiation safety and exposure optimization.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $1,982 - $2,168 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
