Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The CT Tech will support imaging services, ensure accurate acquired images, and coordinate with physicians.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT cert with registration, BLS, and state licensure as required, with the ability to stand for long periods and perform patient care during night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required.
• ARRT CT certification with registration; state licensure when required.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and assist patients during imaging.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and imaging requests; explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation in patient records.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain patient safety protocols.
• Utilize PACS to review and transmit imaging results to physicians.
