Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization and safety measures.
• Set controls and monitor CT equipment and patient during procedures.
• Assist radiologist with imaging, IVs, and contrast administration if applicable.
• Deliver contrast media and coordinate with radiology team for interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and organize images for review.
