Supplemental Health Care in Scranton, PA is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at a partnering hospital. The role focuses on CT imaging, patient care, and collaboration with radiology staff.

This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week, day shift options, and competitive weekly pay. Travel assignments include medical, dental, vision and 401(k) benefits, with support from SHC throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
