Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Roswell, NM. The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, administer contrast, and ensure image quality for physician interpretation. Must have 1 year of CT experience, BLS, and ARRT CT certification with state licensing when required.

Travel position with 40 hours/week, days shift, 8-hour blocks. The job includes a tax-free stipend as applicable and benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with registration in CT.
• State licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions.
• Position patients for scans.
• Capture diagnostic CT images with CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the PACS system.
