Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. This role offers 40 hours per week with evenings shifts and the chance to work across multiple facilities.

The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, position patients, adjust imaging parameters, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality studies while following radiation safety standards. Requirements include one year of CT experience, valid radiology license, and BLS

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients safely.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to clearly demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech practice.
