Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. The role features a 40-hour workweek, day shifts, and ASAP start. Eligible candidates hold ARRT in Radiography and ARRT (CT) certification is preferred. BLS required; ACLS preferred. 1–2 years radiologic tech experience and CT imaging knowledge are needed. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT certification preferred
Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols
Responsibilities
Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
Explaining scanning procedures to patients
Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
