Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Gainesville, FL. The right candidate has 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing where required, and can handle patient prep, imaging, and safety protocols.

The role requires night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a 36-hour work week, and offers a tax-free stipend and travel benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Current ARRT CT certification with registration.
• BLS certification and any required state licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and ensure high-quality images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scans.
• Position patients for scan procedures.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system.
