Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role requires performing CT exams in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, with four 10-hour night shifts per week.

This travel contract offers competitive weekly pay and the chance to explore Southern Arizona while delivering high-quality imaging. You will float to other departments as needed, start IVs, administer contrast per protocols, and collaborate with radiologists,

Qualifications

• Current CT certification or CT license as required for the position.
• Active Arizona state license or applicable Arizona radiologic technologist credential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated ability to start IVs.
• Experience working in a hospital-based CT department, preferably with Emergency Department imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Primarily support Emergency Department imaging needs.
• Float to other departments as required by facility needs.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures and ensure proper positioning and patient safety.
• Start IVs and administer contrast according to facility protocols and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow radiation safety standards, infection control procedures, and department protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
