Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Sanford, North Carolina. This role offers 36 hours per week with night shifts and supports travel healthcare professionals.

The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, adhere to imaging protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to produce high-quality images. One year of CT experience and a valid radiology license are required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid radiology license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT Certification preferred; other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images.
• Prepare and position patients, ensure safety and image quality.
• Set imaging parameters to optimize anatomy and pathology visualization.
• Collaborate with radiologists for interpretation.
• Maintain CT equipment and document procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards.
• Support patients and adapt to different CT protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
