Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This travel assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights, and a focus on high-quality diagnostic imaging within a partnered hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT in Radiography, CT certification preferred, and active state licensure. 1–2 years radiologic experience and strong anatomy knowledge are required, with BLS (ACLS preferred) to support patient safety and care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or B.S. in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain consent when needed.
• Protect patients from radiation exposure and ensure comfort.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and report issues.
