Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This travel role requires 18 months of CT tech experience, ARRT CT or ASRT certification, licensure as applicable, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• 18 months experience as a CT Tech in a health care setting.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure immobilization and safety.
• Set controls and monitor CT equipment and patient.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and contrast administration when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast and support interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images properly.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Process charges to patient records and manage contrast media administration.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment and uphold quality care.
