Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New London, CT. The role requires 18 months of CT tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as applicable.

You will work 12-hour night shifts, 40 hours per week, in a travel capacity with housing and relocation benefits. Benefits include health insurance, credentialing fee coverage, housing options, and a 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of CT Tech experience in a health care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization.
• Set controls and monitor CT equipment and patient.
• Assist radiologist with procedures and contrast administration as needed.
• Dispense oral contrast when required.
• Evaluate CT images for quality and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients and support clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain patient records for procedures and charges.
• Operate power injections for contrast and ensure patient safety.
