Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hanford, CA. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and state licensing where required.

You will work 12-hour nights, with a 36-hour workweek, and duties include patient prep, positioning, image capture, contrast administration, and PACS use. Travel benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours, with opportunities for continuing education and medical benefits through TotalMed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT imaging experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration; BLS; state licensing where required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and follow radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients for CT scans and ensure comfort.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when appropriate.
• Evaluate image quality and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS systems.
