Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure safety.
Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
Evaluating CT scans for technical quality.
Ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Skills
Knowledge of CT imaging protocols
Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
Ability to explain procedures to patients
Experience in using computerized tomography equipment
Education
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT preferred
