Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Pensacola, Florida. This opportunity is a 13-week contract with a 40-hour work week and night shifts (10 hours).

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, a state license, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience, with CT imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
