Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Southport, North Carolina. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS; state licensing may be required.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, ensure image accuracy, and prepare patients for scanning while coordinating with physicians. Expect travel duties, rotating 10-hour shifts, and weekly pay benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification required; state licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and imaging requests; explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately.
• Position patients for CT scans to target specific areas.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Review CT images for technical quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image management.
