MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The position requires 18 months of CT experience and ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, with licensure in most states.

Qualifications

Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
Most states require licensure.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization and safety.
Set controls and monitor CT equipment and patient during procedures.
Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and contrast administration as needed.
Prepare and dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
Evaluate CT images for technical quality and label and file results properly.
Schedule patients for procedures and support clerical tasks as needed.
Track and charge procedures to patient records.
