Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensure where required.

The position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and a tax-free stipend as part of the pay package. You will operate CT equipment, position patients, administer contrast, review procedures, and maintain records while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification and state licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administrate radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
