Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mason City, IA. You will operate CT scanners, ensure image quality, and collaborate with radiologists while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements include one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred. Benefits and competitive pay are offered for this travel position.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred).
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and position them appropriately.
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech scope.
