Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Port Saint Joe, Florida. The role is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts on AM schedule; travel staffing experience preferred.

The position requires ARRT licensure with CT preferred, ARRT Radiography certification, and active licensure as applicable. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, and 1–2 years CT experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
