Qualifications

• Must have an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate or Bachelor).
• ARRT certification in Radiography required; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and patient comfort.
• Assess CT image quality for diagnostic adequacy.
