Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Leominster, MA. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and ARRT (R) registration with state licensing as needed. You will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality images for physicians.

The position is 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts. Travel staff receive weekly pay, benefits, and a tax-advantaged stipend where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CT technologist experience.
• Must hold ARRT (CT) certification and BLS.
• Must have ARRT (R) registration and any required state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
• Position patients for scans and optimize image quality.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain patient records and use the PACS system.
