Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The role balances CT and X-ray duties with a 50/50 workload and 40 hours per week on day shifts.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate or Bachelors in Radiologic Technology, be OBMI and ARRT CT-registered, and have a current BLS certificate. CRASE training is preferred if travel exceeds six months.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licenses/Certifications: OBMI and ARRT CT registrations, with a current BLS certification.
• Preferred: CRASE training if travel assignment exceeds six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures and interpret images.
• Prepare patients for examinations with instructions to ensure cooperation and comfort.
• Operate radiography and CT equipment with correct techniques to minimize exposure.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and proper identification.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and verify informed consent.
• Administer contrast media following state statutes and institutional policies.
• Maintain universal precautions to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain archival storage of digitized data and educate patients on procedures.
• CT-specific: operate CT equipment and select appropriate protocols for imaging.
• Perform venipunctures as necessary and evaluate CT image quality.
• Complete required CT skills checks for head, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
