Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Ronceverte, West Virginia. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, with travel accommodations and credentials covered by the agency.

The CT Technologist will operate CT equipment and work under a radiologist to perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality image results.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with proper immobilization.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and contrast administration.
• Dispense oral contrast when needed.
• Support interventional CT procedures as applicable.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and label correctly.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
