Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The position runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour shifts, starting ASAP at a partnering hospital.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring radiation safety. ARRT licensure and BLS required; CT certification preferred. Benefits and support are offered by SHC.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification required; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license if applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain radiation protection practices for patient safety.
• Evaluate CT images for diagnostic quality.
