Responsibilities

• Instructs patient regarding procedures and preps.
• Positions patient and, if necessary, restrains mobility through use of immobilization devices.
• Determines exposure factors; adjusts exposure factors and operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Cleans and organizes work area to ensure supplies are available.
• Processes and reviews quality of CT images.
