Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Medford, OR is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience and will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, travel position in Medford, Oregon.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and ensure imaging is accurate for physician interpretation. ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing as required are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required.
• AR RT (CT), BLS, ARRT (R), 2 Years

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine if they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
