Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The role offers a 36-hour week with 12-hour days and AM shifts, focusing on high-quality CT imaging and patient safety in a hospital setting.

Requirements include an associate or bachelor’s in radiologic technology, ARRT certification (CT preferred), state license if applicable, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years of radiologic tech experience with CT imaging.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
