Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This travel opportunity features 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, and placement with a top healthcare client through MedPro Allied Staffing.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and state licensure where required. You’ll work independently and as part of a patient‑focused radiology team.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls of CT equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accordingly.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
