Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Keyser, West Virginia. The CT Tech will work 40 hours per week in an evenings shift and must have 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification with active registration, BLS, and state licensing where required.

As a CT Tech, you will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and prepare patients for scanning while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required
• ARRT CT certification with registration
• BLS required; state licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients
• Position patients for scanning and ensure comfort
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain patient records
• Understand and use PACS for image transfer
