Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Redding, California. The candidate will operate CT equipment, position patients, and work with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging during a 13-week assignment in sunny California.

The role requires 18 months of CT tech experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, and licensure where applicable. Travel benefits, housing options, weekly pay, and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, adjust as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast injection if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images properly.
• Schedule patients and assist with some clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
