Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. The 13-week engagement requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. Valid ARRT (CT) certification and BLS are required, along with state licensing where applicable.

The CT Tech will perform diagnostic CT imaging, prepare patients, administer contrast as needed, ensure image quality, and document exams in the PACS. Prior experience and a strong knowledge base in anatomy are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration.
• BLS required; state licensing as applicable.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain imaging procedures and provide reassurance to patients.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and safety.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS systems.
