Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL, is offering a temporary travel contract for Radiologic Technologists to perform CT procedures under the direction of a radiologist and a CT supervisor. Initial contract length is 12 weeks with possible renewal for 8-12 weeks.

The role requires ARRT certification as RT (R), CT registration within 1 year of hire, BLS certified or obtainable within 30 days, and at least 2 years CT experience or 12 months at UAB Medicine.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT-acceptable mechanism.
• Minimum of two years CT experience or 12 months at UAB Medicine.
• Need ARRT RT (R) registration.
• Within 1 year of hire, become CT registered with ARRT.
• BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under supervision of a radiologist and CT supervisor.
• Use independent judgment to render prescribed CT procedures.
