Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Elko, Nevada. The CT Tech will operate CT imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Ideal candidates have ARRT radiography certification (CT preferred), 1–2 years of radiology experience, and an active state license. Travel assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the AHA; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and ensure comfort.
• Follow radiation protection practices for patient safety.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.
