ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in North Bergen, New Jersey. The role requires CT expertise and licensure with NJ ARRT-CT and BLS certification, with shifts spanning 12 hours and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The position specifies travel to North Bergen, NJ, with a 13-week contract and a 6‑day week pattern including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts. Experience in EPIC EMR and PACS is preferred to coordinate studies efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT experience required.
• 2 years CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CT procedures and reviews patient history.
• Prepares and reviews contrast questionnaires for accuracy.
• Identifies and administers contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Verifies exam prescriptions and communicates with Radiologists and referring physicians.
• Schedules outside studies in EPIC and ensures availability in PACS.
• Evaluates radiographs using PACS for diagnostic value.
• Prepares patients for scanning with shielding and immobilization as needed.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions during procedures and answers questions.
• Maintains scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends, with overtime as necessary.
