Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in York, Maine. You’ll operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images and deliver timely studies for radiologists.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to the radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other health-care professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Technologist practice.
