Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Tech for a 13‑week assignment in Sierra Vista, AZ. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare and position patients, and ensure imaging protocols and safety standards are followed to deliver diagnostic quality images.

The role requires at least one year of CT experience, an active radiology license, and current BLS certification. Travel-friendly benefits and support are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology accurately.
• Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

Travel CT Tech

Assignment: 13‑week travel assignment.

Summary

The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. The technician prepares patients for the procedure, positions patients with considerations for safety and image accuracy, ensures proper imaging protocols are followed, and works closely with radiologists to obtain high‑quality images for accurate diagnosis. CT Techs also maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure while providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process.

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
