Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a CT Technologist in Oro Valley, AZ for a 13-week onsite contract. Night shift, 10 hours/day, 4 days/week, with guaranteed 36 hours.

Responsibilities include performing CT scans, contrast administration, and imaging under a Radiologist's direction. ARRT CT certification and state licensure required; Cerner/EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiology program.
• ARRT RT(R), CT certification; AZ CT and RT licenses.
• Minimum 2 years hospital CT experience.
• Proficient in CT scanning procedures and imaging.
• Experience with PACS/EMR; Cerner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, inject contrast, and complete exams.
• Operate CT equipment and associated imaging modalities.
• Care for patients and transport as required.
• Follow radiologist and department protocols.

Job Description

Night Shift 10 hours/day 4 days/week

Travel: CT Scan Tech / Radiology (R)
Shift 4/10's - 7:30p - 6:00a (Wed-Sat)
Duration: 13 Weeks

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services

to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.

The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures.

Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.

Required Experience: 2 yrs. of Hospital Experience & Previous CT Experience.

Required Certifications: RT(R)(CT)(ARRT), AZ CT and RT licenses

Required: Perform CT scans, inject contrast, complete exams, use of PACS and EMR, patient care, transport patients

EMR: Cerner Experience Preferred

RTO Blackout Dates: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall on this shift.
