Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. This night shift role runs 13 weeks with 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM start times, and requires ED/IP CT experience and ARRT Radiography certification.

The traveler will operate Client CT equipment, perform routine exams, and support patient care in a high-volume trauma setting. BLS and Radiology Tech license are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience in Level 1 trauma setting.
• Ability to perform routine CT exams for ED and IP patients including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA.
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications; CT preferred; Radiology Tech License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ED and IP CT exams with trauma protocols.
• Operate CT equipment independently and safely across shifts.
• Collaborate with radiology and hospital staff to ensure patient care standards.

• Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day – 3 scanners
• Unit staffing description-: 2 Techs per scanner-day/ Total 3 techs/overnights
• Type of equipment : Client 512, Client 128, Client 32 slice
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: n/a
• Floating policy: n/a
• Patient Experience requirements: Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model.

Hospital Specifics-

• CT – ACR accredited
