Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Harrisburg, PA. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, optimize imaging protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver diagnostic images.

Essential duties include maintaining radiation safety, documenting procedures, and providing compassionate care. Eligible candidates typically have ARRT preferred, current BLS, and state Radiology licensure.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

Summary

The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning for safety and image accuracy, ensuring proper imaging protocols, collaborating with radiologists, maintaining equipment, keeping patient records, and following safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure while providing compassionate care.
