Job summary

Anders Group is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lafayette, Colorado. The role involves performing CT procedures, maintaining ARRT competency, and ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Understanding of sectional anatomy and imaging terminology.
• Proficient with CT imaging protocols and techniques.
• Knowledge of contrast administration and injector operation.
• Familiar with electronic imaging, viewing and transferring images.
• Able to identify emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Capable of working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency across clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and comfort, address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Practice infection control and maintain records.
• Follow protocol for medical necessity, coding and consent.
• Administer contrast as ordered and educate patients on safety.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in CEU activities.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff.
