Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Abilene, Texas. The position requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, and licensure where required.

The traveler will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, on a 13-week contract with travel accommodation and company support. The role involves CT imaging, patient positioning, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set controls and monitor related equipment, adjusting as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast injections if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Schedule procedures and handle some clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Operate power injections for contrast media.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with timely, compassionate care.
