Qualifications

• Eighteen months experience as a CT Tech in a health care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Licensure in most states is common.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Position CT scans and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure optimal image quality and proper labeling of studies.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and administration of contrast.
• Schedule procedures and assist with related clerical tasks.
• Maintain patient safety and a professional care environment.
