Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Wichita, KS. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing where applicable. Responsibilities include performing CT scans, ensuring image quality, and maintaining patient care and safety throughout procedures.

Travel position with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend; support with licensing and credentialing is available.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS and ARRT CT certification with CT registration; state licensing where required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent while reviewing imaging requests.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions for imaging.
• Position patients properly for scans.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT image quality for technical adequacy.
• Follow safety procedures when handling radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Operate and understand the McKesson PACS system.
