Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Los Angeles, CA seeks a CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and state licensing where required. You will operate CT equipment, produce diagnostic images, and support physicians.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image capture, contrast administration, image evaluation, and use of McKesson PACS. This travel position offers 40 hours weekly, rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• ARRT CT certification and state licensing when required.
• BLS certification (basic life support).

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Operate the McKesson PACS system.
