Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
• A.R.R.T. Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.
• These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.
• The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
• The CAT/CT Scan Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
